Questions people ask
How is pricing decided?
By your size and what you need. A 150-member chapter and a 5,000-member state association should not pay the same, so smaller organizations get the same tools without the big-organization bill. A quote takes one short form.
Will Encorum take a cut of the money we collect?
No. Payments go straight to your bank through your own processor account. You pay only your processor's usual fee, and nothing to us per payment.
Can we use the payment processor we already have?
Most likely. You connect your own account, and we support a growing list of popular processors. Checks and invoices can be recorded on any plan. Tell us which processor you use when you ask for a quote.
What if we need to change plans later?
You see exactly what changes before you confirm, and nothing is deleted. Anything already underway, like an open election, finishes the way it started.
We host events with other associations. Does everyone need the same plan?
No. The host's plan decides what the shared event can do. Partner associations never need to upgrade to take part.
Can we try it before we commit?
Yes. Ask for a pilot. Pilots have a clear end date and then move to Essentials, so there is never a surprise bill.
Who else can see our data?
No other organization. Each association's records are walled off inside the database itself. See Security for how.
